This role is part of a high-performing technology and operations environment supporting complex financial systems and real-time transaction processing within the capital markets domain. You will act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are accurately captured, translated, and delivered into scalable software solutions. The position involves working across multiple projects and release cycles, with responsibility for driving clarity in business requirements, system design, and testing activities. You will play an important role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of financial data flows, particularly in post-trade and collateral-related processes. Operating in a fast-paced, global environment, this role requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage competing priorities. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems through data-driven and technology-enabled solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage business analysis activities across monthly software release cycles, ensuring timely delivery of requirements, documentation, and testing support.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements by collaborating closely with business users, developers, and product stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications, use cases, and test cases while ensuring full coverage of business scenarios.
  • Support end-to-end testing activities including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in production support and release weekend activities, ensuring smooth deployment and issue resolution.
  • Conduct data analysis, derive mappings and transformations, and support solution design for complex financial workflows.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to present solutions, optimize business processes, and ensure alignment with operational needs.
  • Support issue triage and problem resolution across multiple systems in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 7+ years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or asset management environments.
    • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, post-trade processing, and financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, and repos.
    • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (Sybase preferred).
    • Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
    • Experience in software testing methodologies including functional, regression, integration, and UAT.
    • Familiarity with production support, issue triage, and tools such as Jira and Agile boards.
    • Exposure to Unix environments and basic understanding of XML/XSD is a plus.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across global, distributed teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong collaboration mindset and willingness to learn new systems and domains.
