Senior AEM Business Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior AEM Business Analyst based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, digital experience, and technical delivery, supporting the implementation of large-scale Adobe Experience Manager solutions. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, feasible, and aligned with platform capabilities. The position involves working on complex enterprise digital experience projects, particularly around content management and digital asset systems. You will help translate business needs into structured technical requirements while ensuring system dependencies and impacts are fully understood. Working in an Agile, cross-functional environment, you will contribute to backlog refinement, solution design discussions, and delivery governance. This is a highly collaborative role where your input directly influences the quality and scalability of digital experiences. You will also support continuous improvement across documentation, processes, and delivery practices.

Accountabilities:

  • Gather, define, and analyze business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with Adobe Experience Manager capabilities.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate objectives into actionable user stories and specifications.
  • Identify system dependencies and assess upstream and downstream impacts to proactively manage risks and implementation challenges.
  • Support backlog grooming and prioritization by evaluating business value, technical complexity, and cross-system dependencies.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery activities including documentation, user story refinement, testing support, and acceptance criteria definition.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides, requirement specifications, and process flows to ensure knowledge accessibility.
  • Support solution validation, ensuring requirements are implemented correctly and aligned with expected business outcomes.
  • Requirements:

    • 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst working with technical teams in digital or enterprise environments.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, including AEM Assets and large-scale enterprise implementations.
    • Solid understanding of digital asset management, metadata, taxonomy, content migration, and content governance processes.
    • Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams, including product owners, developers, and solution architects.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa.
    • Familiarity with integrations, system dependencies, and end-to-end digital experience delivery.
    • Experience with Adobe Dynamic Media, Workfront, or broader Adobe Experience Cloud is a strong plus.
    • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Relevant Adobe certifications (AEM Assets or Business Practitioner) are considered an asset.
