Senior BI Analyst
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior BI Analyst based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and business operations, enabling leaders to make smarter, faster decisions through high-quality insights and scalable reporting. You will act as a key analytics partner to Finance and cross-functional teams, translating complex datasets into clear narratives that guide growth, product optimization, and customer success. The environment is fast-paced, global, and highly collaborative, requiring strong ownership and intellectual curiosity. You will help shape how the organization understands its customer journey, from acquisition through retention, using cohort analysis and performance tracking. This is a high-impact position where your insights directly influence strategic direction and operational efficiency. You will also contribute to building and improving data infrastructure, ensuring stakeholders can reliably self-serve insights.
Accountabilities:
- Partner with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable business insights and strategic recommendations
- Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reporting pipelines, and BI tools to support key business functions
- Perform advanced analysis including cohort analysis, customer journey mapping, and performance tracking
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and work with relational databases to transform and validate data
- Support data modeling, data accuracy, and consistency across multiple systems and sources
- Enable self-service analytics by training stakeholders and improving reporting accessibility
- Continuously enhance BI processes, tools, and data infrastructure to scale insights across the organization
- 4+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or a related field in a fast-paced environment
- Strong advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and large datasets
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
- Proven ability to design and build scalable dashboards and reporting solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience gathering and translating business requirements
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive end-to-end analytics projects
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences
- Experience with forecasting, cohort analysis, and quantitative analysis strongly preferred
