This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Functional Consultant / Business Analyst (Lead Solution Consultant) based in the United States.
This role blends hands-on client delivery with team leadership and practice development in a fast-growing GovTech environment. You will act as a key bridge between clients and technical teams, leading complex regulatory software implementations while ensuring requirements are clearly translated into scalable, low-code solutions. Alongside delivery responsibilities, you will coach and mentor a team of consultants, helping elevate overall execution quality and consistency. The role also plays a critical part in building frameworks, templates, and best practices that strengthen delivery standards across the organization. Operating in a highly collaborative and mission-driven setting, you will influence both client outcomes and internal capability maturity. This position offers strong visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how enterprise regulatory solutions are delivered at scale.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end requirements analysis for complex regulatory and enterprise software implementations, translating business needs into structured solution designs.
- Own the full user story lifecycle, including writing acceptance criteria, managing backlog refinement, and ensuring clarity across stakeholders.
- Design and maintain solution documentation such as workflows, process diagrams, data models, and user guides.
- Configure and support applications on a low-code platform in alignment with established technical architecture.
- Facilitate client workshops, UAT sessions, and training activities to ensure successful adoption and issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary coach and escalation point for a team of 6–10 functional consultants.
- Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions focused on skill development, performance, and career progression.
- Build reusable frameworks, templates, and delivery standards to improve consistency across projects.
- Lead internal enablement sessions and contribute to methodology improvements in collaboration with leadership.
- Ensure adherence to Agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery cycles.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, manage risks, and maintain high delivery quality.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, functional consulting, or enterprise software implementation roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degrees in Computer Science or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience leading requirements definition for large-scale, multi-stakeholder software projects.
- Strong background in low-code, no-code, or workflow automation platforms (e.g., SaaS, enterprise workflow systems).
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop consultants or analysts in a structured environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile delivery practices and iterative software development cycles.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into detailed, developer-ready specifications.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including leading workshops and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and collaboration platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Preferred experience in GovTech, regulatory systems, or enterprise SaaS implementations (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian).
- Familiarity with APIs (REST/Graph), prototyping tools (Figma or PowerPoint), or basic scripting (JavaScript) is a plus.
