Due to the active growth and expansion of our presence in international markets, we are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager who will become a key player in scaling the business and developing new directions.
You will be responsible for managing strategic initiatives, building partnerships, coordinating teams across different regions, and implementing a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Partner Relationship Managers team, ensuring growth and retention targets are achieved while maintaining high client and partner satisfaction
  • Monitor team performance, track KPIs, provide coaching and feedback, and support the continuous development of team members
  • Develop and execute country-specific marketing and business development strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Manage the department budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control
  • Support senior management in developing and implementing strategic initiatives
  • Lead departmental projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, acting as the primary escalation point when needed
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Prepare regular reports on performance, challenges, and business opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager with a strong track record in scaling businesses
  • Experience in building and leading teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Successful execution of business development strategies aligned with company goals
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive regional or multi-departmental cooperation
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics, interpret data, and generate reports for decision-making
  • Strong market awareness, with the ability to track competitor activities and industry trends
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian/Russian and English language is required
  • Being located in South Africa or willing to work from this region
