Business Development Manager

This opportunity is ideal for a driven sales professional who excels at building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering consultative technology solutions. In this role, you will help expand the organization's presence across North America by developing strategic accounts and partnering with organizations to improve their business operations through cloud-based ERP and CRM solutions. Working closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams, you will guide prospects through the sales cycle while creating long-term value for clients. Accountabilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic lead generation initiatives.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Develop trusted relationships with prospective and existing clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business challenges and recommending tailored cloud-based ERP and CRM solutions.
- Engage and build credibility with C-level executives and key decision-makers throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to identify market opportunities and execute effective territory development strategies.
- Partner with customer solution and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
- Maintain accurate sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to strengthen market presence and expand business opportunities.
- Develop strategic territory plans that support sustainable revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- 5–8 years of B2B field sales experience selling ERP, CRM, or other enterprise software solutions to mid-market and large organizations.
- Demonstrated success in business development, consultative selling, account management, and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Strong prospecting skills with a proactive, results-oriented "hunter" mindset.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and influence executive-level stakeholders through effective communication and presentation skills.
- Experience developing strategic account and territory plans while identifying new market opportunities.
- Familiarity with solution selling methodologies or structured sales processes.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and ERP platforms and an understanding of enterprise business systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education preferred.
- Strong organizational, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–15% as business needs require.
