Associate Business Development Lead
As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
As an Associate Business Development Lead on the Google Play Partnerships team, you will be the operational engine behind our most critical, high-influence Alliance partnerships. In this role, you will act as the trusted operational point person, managing day-to-day excellence that directly enables developer and product success. This position serves as a premier training ground to deeply immerse yourself in the Android/Play ecosystem, work alongside Business Development Managers (BDMs), and master the fundamentals of partner management and operational execution.

Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $112000 - $162000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 2 years with an advanced degree.
- Experience managing agreements or external partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a similar role.
- Experience managing external partners at scale rather than via bespoke support, working cross-functionally internally, and managing agreements with legal teams.
- Experience working in a globally scaled environment and planning and managing at operational levels.
- Experience summarizing and clarifying complex operational issues with a strong attention to detail.
