Business Development Executive

This role is focused on driving new business opportunities in a fast-paced digital marketing environment. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients generated through multiple online channels such as paid campaigns, website inquiries, and social platforms. Acting as the first point of contact, you will play a key role in shaping the client journey by understanding their needs and positioning relevant marketing solutions. The position involves close collaboration with sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth lead conversion and effective client onboarding. Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lead engagement process and supporting business growth through structured outreach and coordination.
- Identify and qualify potential prospects generated through Facebook, Google Ads, and website inquiry channels
- Engage with leads through calls, emails, and social media to introduce services and understand client requirements
- Conduct initial outreach and schedule meetings or product demonstrations for qualified prospects
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations
- Follow up consistently with prospects to resolve queries and maintain engagement throughout the sales cycle
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and updates in CRM systems
- Support smooth onboarding and transition of new clients in coordination with internal teams
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles preferred
- Prior experience in a marketing agency or similar fast-paced environment is an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional proficiency in Tamil, Hindi, or Kannada is a plus
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow professionally
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office or Zoho Workplace tools
