The Senior Principal Data Scientist - AI Lead will be the point of contact for Public Sector / Government stakeholders and will be responsible for end-to-end AI solution delivery.
 
This role will partner with U.S. government agencies on programs that depend on trusted entity data, validation, and risk insight. 
 

Skills Needed:

• Data expertise: Strong skills in data analysis, manipulation, and processing for training and evaluating AI models.

• Experience leading large-scale digital transformations: In IT Operations for global

• 10+ years of professional Data science / ML/AI development experience with a preference working with Government / public sector clients

• Deep understanding of AI/ML Technologies: Solid grasp of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and hands-on experience on AI automation.

• Leadership and team management: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, foster innovation, and manage the full software development lifecycle.

• Strong programming skills: Expertise in languages like Python, Java, or Go, essential for developing and deploying AI solutions.

• Cloud platform knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and scaling AI applications.

• Strategic thinking and vision: Capability to identify opportunities, define technical roadmaps, and align AI solutions with business objectives.

• Excellent communication and collaboration: The ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and foster cross-functional teamwork.

• Problem-solving and critical thinking: Exceptional analytical skills to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and optimize system performance.

• Adaptability and continuous learning: Commitment to staying updated with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and embracing new technologies.

• Ethical considerations and bias mitigation: Understanding and addressing the ethical implications of AI, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability.

• Significant experience in IT and solution architecture roles: with a focus on automation, infrastructure, or cloud.

• Proven track record of designing and implementing AI/ML solutions: Especially in IT operations, infrastructure management, or business process automation.

 

Education Needed:

  • Bachelors Degree - Required
  • Master and/or PhD Degree - Highly Preferred
