Responsibilities and Requirements

This role drives continuous HR operational excellence and help the deliverance of high-quality HR services to the employees in Hong Kong. 

Responsibilities

HR Operations (Hong Kong)

  • Assist in employee lifecycle such as onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, etc.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HR systems (e.g., Workday), ensuring data integrity and compliance

  • Provide timely and professional support to employees and managers on HR policies, processes, and systems

  • Payroll, Tax & Benefits (HK & APAC)

  • Support and coordinate payroll processing for Hong Kong and selected APAC markets, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders on payroll execution, statutory payments, and reporting

  • Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance checks

  • Assist in tax administration, including filing requirements, reporting, and employee tax-related matters across markets

  • Coordinate employee benefits administration, including MPF, insurance, and other regional benefit programs

  • HR Projects & Initiatives

  • Provide support on HR projects and initiatives such as employee and candidate engagement, recruitment campaigns, employer brandings, employee activities and company events, training organizing, social club organizing, etc.

  • Respond to enquiries from employees, managers, and other stakeholders regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Assist in driving process improvements and HR operational excellence initiatives

  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned and support the regional HR projects when needed.

  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines

  • At least 2–4 years of relevant HR operations experience, preferably with exposure to payroll and benefit

  • Basic understanding of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and exposure to regional statutory requirements preferred

  • Experience supporting multi-country (APAC) payroll or working with payroll vendors is a strong advantage

  • Proficient in MS Office; experience in Workday or other HRIS is an advantage

  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to handle confidential information

  • Proactive, collaborative team player with good problem-solving skills

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
