Senior Data Engineer & Analytics
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Engineer & Analytics based in Brazil.
This role is an opportunity for a data professional who wants to shape modern, scalable data ecosystems that directly support strategic decision-making. You will play a key part in designing and evolving data architectures that enable reliable analytics across the organization. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you’ll build robust data pipelines, integrations, and analytical layers that power dashboards and business insights. The role is deeply hands-on, with strong exposure to cloud-based Microsoft data technologies and modern engineering practices. You will contribute to the migration from legacy systems toward a more scalable and future-ready data architecture. Your work will have a direct impact on data quality, governance, and business performance. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and evolve scalable transactional and analytical data structures supporting business needs.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and transformation processes across multiple systems and sources.
- Support the migration of legacy SharePoint-based solutions to a modern, scalable data architecture.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database models for performance and reliability.
- Prepare analytical data layers for consumption in dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, performance, and availability across all data assets.
- Collaborate with solution architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver aligned data solutions.
- Promote best practices in version control, automation, CI/CD, and DataOps for data assets.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, Data Developer, or similar role.
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and relational database design.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and system integrations.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud data ecosystem, including Microsoft Azure services.
- Familiarity with analytical data modeling and building datasets for reporting and BI tools.
- Experience working with Power BI for analytics and dashboard preparation.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to data quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Nice to have: experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric; exposure to CI/CD and DataOps practices; English proficiency; and familiarity with Supply Chain projects.
- Note: candidates based in the Campinas Metropolitan Region may be required to attend the office according to local policy.
