Freelance Product and Brand Designers

You will contribute to work that spans websites, digital products, campaigns, and emerging platforms, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on high-impact creative challenges. You will help shape visual systems, narratives, and interactive experiences that connect brands with their audiences in thoughtful ways. Projects vary in scope and stage, offering exposure to both early concept exploration and refined production work. Accountabilities
In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of digital products, brand systems, and marketing experiences, working closely with creative and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life across multiple formats and platforms.
- Design digital product experiences, marketing websites, and interactive interfaces that balance usability with strong visual craft.
- Develop brand identities, visual systems, and design expressions across multiple digital touchpoints.
- Create concepts, storyboards, and narrative-driven visual explorations that communicate ideas clearly and compellingly.
- Collaborate with creative directors, design leads, strategists, writers, and technologists to translate ideas into polished executions.
- Build prototypes, motion studies, and presentation-ready design work to communicate design direction and intent.
- Extend, document, and maintain design systems and component libraries for scalability and consistency.
- Participate in feedback cycles, iterating on designs based on stakeholder input and creative direction.
- Work across disciplines in distributed teams while maintaining ownership of your design output and delivery quality.
- Proven experience in product design, brand design, visual design, or campaign-based creative work.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual design, typography, layout, and conceptual thinking.
- Proficiency with Figma and modern design workflows, including prototyping and collaboration tools.
- Ability to design across digital products, websites, branding systems, or integrated campaigns.
- Experience working with feedback from stakeholders and iterating effectively on design direction.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present design concepts clearly and confidently.
- Comfortable working independently in freelance or distributed team environments.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with attention to detail and craft in execution.
- Nice to have: experience with motion design, design systems, or cross-functional collaboration with developers and strategists.
- Contract rate: $50–$110 per hour (based on experience, location, and skillset)
