Job Overview

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Principal Business Analyst to join the Digital Technology Business Transformation PST Program. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution solutions that support critical business processes across our global operations.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and integrated SAP solutions while driving digital transformation initiatives that shape the future of aerospace and defense.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and refine Sales & Distribution business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA SD solutions aligned with industry best practices and business objectives.
  • Configure and optimize SAP SD functionalities, ensuring efficient order-to-cash and sales management processes.
  • Lead and support SAP S/4HANA implementation and conversion projects across multiple business functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable seamless integration with other SAP modules and enterprise applications.
  • Work closely with ABAP development and interface teams to design and implement technical enhancements.
  • Provide end-user training, user support, and guidance on SAP SD processes and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain project reports, dashboards, and solution documentation.
  • Act as an internal consultant during system analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management teams to ensure successful delivery of digital technology solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and continuously improve SAP SD processes and user experience.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD).
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and business process design.
  • Experience working on both SAP support and implementation projects.
  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution processes and functionalities.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and system configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with cross-functional SAP integrations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • SAP S/4HANA Certification in Sales & Distribution.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or system conversion projects.
  • Experience working with ABAP development teams and interface technologies.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP best practices, reporting tools, and digital technology frameworks.
