Job Overview

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Principal Business Integration Analyst – SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) to join the Digital Technology Financial Applications PST Program. In this role, you will drive digital transformation initiatives by designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions that enable efficient financial operations, enhanced business insights, and enterprise-wide process excellence.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver innovative SAP solutions that support critical finance functions while helping shape the future of aerospace and defense.

What You Will Do

• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and refine business requirements for SAP Finance and Controlling solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA FI/CO designs aligned with business processes, industry trends, and SAP best practices.
• Configure and optimize SAP Finance and Controlling functionalities, ensuring efficient financial and management reporting processes.
• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA implementation and conversion projects, including solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Manage and support financial month-end and year-end closing activities, including Financial Closing Cockpit processes.
• Execute cutover activities related to SAP FI/CO implementations and system transitions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable seamless integration across SAP modules, including FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP.
• Develop and maintain project reports, dashboards, and solution documentation.
• Provide end-user training and support to finance users on SAP FI/CO processes and functionalities.
• Work closely with ABAP development and interface teams to design and implement technical enhancements.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management teams to ensure successful delivery of digital technology solutions.
• Troubleshoot system issues and continuously improve finance business processes and user experience.

• Learn industry best practices in financial digital transformation within a highly regulated and innovative environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO).
• Hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO configuration and business process design.
• Experience supporting both SAP implementation and production support projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling functionalities and financial business processes.
• Experience with:
  • Financial Month-End and Year-End Closing activities
  • Financial Closing Cockpit
  • Cutover Planning and Execution
  • Cross-functional integrations including FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project teams.

Qualifications We Prefer

• SAP S/4HANA Certification in Finance.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or system conversion projects.
• Experience working with ABAP development teams and interface technologies.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Experience with SAP reporting, dashboards, and financial analytics solutions.
• Exposure to aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver innovative digital finance solutions.
