Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to join the Infra Technology Construction Department focused on a multi-billion new build semiconductor manufacturing facility in Taylor, TX.

This is a senior individual contributor position responsible for managing the integrated master schedule for our portfolio of projects. From project initiation through commissioning and tool-move-in, this role drives schedule predictability and provides organizational leadership across our multiple layers of construction and operations partners.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, maintains, and communicates integrated plans and schedules for multiple highly complex projects.

  • Produce weekly executive reports that provide high-level trend analysis, KPI updates, and identification of risks and opportunities as it relates to project and program level schedule management.

  • Ensures contractors are following best schedule practices and are compliant with contractual requirements.

  • Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and Forensic Delay Analysis.

  • Perform audits on invoices, schedules, and documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

  • Collaborate with General Contractor’s site leadership in order to identify areas of concern and opportunities related to schedule.

  • Utilize strong leadership skills to align stakeholders across site departments, including EHS, facilities, manufacturing, and engineering organizations to meet goals.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a scheduler on large industrial construction project (Semiconductor fab experience preferred but not required).

  • Primavera P6 Master User (System / Enterprise Administrator).

  • Ability to read and understand construction documents including design documents, shop drawings, bid forms, and contracts.

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or closely related field.

The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
