Position Summary
In your role as a skilled Electrical Engineer within the Infra electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for safely energizing equipment, meeting critical milestones, and providing commissioning and engineering support.Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Substation Engineering - end-to-end design review, QA/QC, commissioning, energization and sustaining 138kV Electrical Substation - Protection & Controls - Utility Coordination.
Electrical Modeling (ETAP).
Power Quality Management - sag/swell analysis.
Power Vaccine - application of continuous improvement principle to harden the site against voltage sag and other power quality issues.
Mentoring and technical development of junior engineers on staff.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
12+ years of relevant experience with medium & high voltage electrical distribution.
Knowledgeable in high voltage breakers, power transformers, switchgear and their protections.
Knowledgeable in automatic transfer controls and backup power generation/paralleling switchgear.
The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $174,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
