Primary Responsibilities:
Revenue Ownership & Forecasting (Primary Accountability): Own and deliver the team's revenue quota. Drive accurate pipeline reporting and quarterly forecasting, hold reps accountable to pipeline hygiene, and provide leadership with a clear, data-informed view of business performance each period. This role is ultimately measured by the team's ability to hit and exceed its number.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Account Executives, setting clear performance expectations and building individual development plans that elevate rep performance across the full sales cycle. Create a culture of accountability, rigor, and continuous improvement.
Sales Process & Coaching: Establish and reinforce a consistent sales methodology across the team, from prospecting and qualification through close. Coach reps to articulate value propositions that connect Samsung's solutions to client business outcomes.
Hiring & Talent Development: Partner with recruiting to attract and onboard top sales talent. Actively build a candidate pipeline and contribute to a team culture that retains high performers.
Executive Engagement & Deal Support: Maintain your own executive-level relationships at key accounts and agency partners, while actively joining seller calls, proposals, and high-stakes negotiations to accelerate deals and develop your team in real time.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing, Agency Development, and Monetization to surface market feedback, align on go-to-market priorities, and ensure your team has the resources and positioning to compete effectively.
Industry & Competitive Intelligence: Maintain a sharp point of view on the CTV/OTT landscape and competitive dynamics. Translate market insights into strategic direction and coaching moments for your team.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, with deep familiarity in the video/CTV ecosystem; experience at a video publisher, DSP, or SSP preferred
Proven ability to recruit, onboard, and retain sales talent
Strong forecasting discipline and comfort owning a team revenue number
Comfortable operating as a player-coach — maintaining executive relationships while actively supporting reps in the field
Experience navigating both entrepreneurial and established corporate environments
Track record of instilling a hunter mentality — building net new business pipelines from scratch
Executive-level communication and relationship management skills
Ability to simplify complex topics and coach others to do the same
Builder's mindset — creates structure in ambiguity and drives initiatives forward with minimal direction
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3–5 years of people management experience with a demonstrated track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams
Compensation for this role for a candidate based in New York $150,000 - $200,000, but may be higher or lower in other regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
