Staff software Engineer - Snowflake/AI Automation Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer – Snowflake / AI Automation Engineer based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, finance systems, and AI-driven automation, focusing on building scalable revenue intelligence solutions across enterprise platforms. You will design and optimize advanced data pipelines on Snowflake and enable end-to-end Quote-to-Revenue workflows integrated with leading ERP systems. The position plays a critical role in modernizing revenue recognition, forecasting, and analytics through automation and AI. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Revenue Accounting, IT, and Data Science teams in a highly cross-functional environment. The work directly impacts financial accuracy, compliance, and enterprise-wide decision intelligence. This is a high-ownership role where engineering excellence meets business-critical outcomes. You will also contribute to building scalable, audit-ready data ecosystems powered by modern cloud technologies and AI capabilities.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize Snowflake-based data models, pipelines, and architectures supporting revenue AI and automation use cases.
  • Develop scalable automation solutions for revenue recognition, forecasting, analytics, and enterprise reporting.
  • Integrate Snowflake with ERP systems such as Salesforce and Oracle Cloud ERP to enable end-to-end Quote-to-Revenue (Q2R) processes.
  • Prepare governed, high-quality datasets to support AI/ML analytics and predictive modeling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Accounting, IT, and Data Science teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, governance, and compliance with SOX and audit requirements.
  • Optimize performance, cost efficiency, security, and reliability of Snowflake-based solutions.
  • Contribute to production support, system enhancements, documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Requirements:

    • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake including data modeling, performance tuning, security, and data sharing.
    • Experience with Snowflake advanced capabilities such as Cortex Analyst and Snowflake Intelligence for AI-enabled analytics.
    • Solid ERP systems experience with platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle ecosystems.
    • Background in Revenue, Finance, or Accounting domains, ideally with exposure to RevPro or similar revenue accounting platforms.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python.
    • Experience building ELT/ETL pipelines using modern data tools and frameworks.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Experience with modern data engineering tools such as dbt and Apache Airflow, including CI/CD for data platforms.
    • Strong understanding of data governance, audit readiness, and enterprise controls.
    • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in cross-functional teams.
    • Exposure to AI/ML analytics and predictive modeling is highly desirable.
