Job Summary:
Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to help design, build, and fine-tune the backbone of our mission-critical systems. If you're passionate about performance, security, and seamless connectivity, this is your chance to make a real impact.
Primary Responsibilities
Architect and deploy secure, high-performance network solutions
Keep our LANs running smoothly with hands-on administration and troubleshooting
Monitor and optimize dataflow to reduce latency and boost throughput
Capture and analyze network performance data to drive improvements
Configure and integrate front-end and back-end systems for seamless communication
Collaborate on mission-driven network designs and architecture
Translate performance metrics into actionable system requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or master’s degree and 6 years of experience. Candidates without bachelors degrees will be considered on a case by case basis and will be required to have additional years of related experience.
Solid grasp of secure network design, configuration, and maintenance
Experience with performance monitoring tools and data analysis
Ability to optimize complex systems for speed and reliability
IAT Level I certification (DoD 8570.01-M compliant)
Clearance Requirement – Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in classified or mission-critical environments
Familiarity with enterprise-scale architecture and secure communications
Strong troubleshooting instincts and a proactive mindset
Comfort working independently and collaboratively under pressure
Clear, concise documentation and communication skills
