This role sits at the core of a modern, cloud-native engineering organization focused on building scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure for mission-critical financial systems. You will design and operate robust DevOps platforms across AWS, Kubernetes, and data-intensive environments, with a strong emphasis on database reliability and migration.
You will play a key role in shaping infrastructure strategy, improving deployment velocity, and ensuring operational excellence across distributed systems.
The environment is highly collaborative, working closely with development, security, and platform engineering teams to deliver resilient and compliant solutions.
A major component of the role includes supporting MSSQL Server administration and database migration initiatives in production environments.
You will drive automation, observability, and reliability improvements across the entire engineering ecosystem.
This position is ideal for a hands-on senior engineer who thrives in complex, high-scale, data-driven cloud environments.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, automated software delivery across multiple environments.
  • Deploy, manage, and tune Kubernetes clusters in production, including Helm-based application deployments.
  • Support and administer Kafka environments and ensure stable data streaming operations.
  • Lead MSSQL Server administration and database migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Define and implement SLOs/SLIs while continuously improving system observability and operational health.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, and networking issues through root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to improve reliability, compliance, and system performance.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance platform efficiency and scalability.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices across environments.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in enterprise DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles.
    • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, KMS, Secrets Manager).
    • Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
    • Strong experience with MSSQL Server administration and database migration projects.
    • Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
    • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production systems.
    • Hands-on experience with Kafka cluster administration and support.
    • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
    • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and hybrid cloud architectures.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and system reliability.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working in Agile environments and managing multiple priorities in fast-paced settings.
    • AWS or cloud certifications are highly desirable.
    • Strong ownership mindset, high accountability, and continuous learning orientation.
