This role sits at the heart of modern cloud delivery and platform engineering, supporting large-scale, mission-driven digital products. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable, and secure software delivery. Working in a fully remote, outcome-focused environment, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to improve deployment velocity and system reliability. The position blends hands-on technical execution with architectural influence, making it ideal for experienced DevOps professionals who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges. You’ll also act as a mentor, helping elevate engineering practices across teams. This is a high-impact role where your work directly contributes to scalable, production-grade systems used in meaningful real-world applications.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, improving deployment efficiency and reliability.
  • Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including WebApps, Functions, VMs, and Scale Sets using IaC (Bicep/ARM).
  • Ensure system reliability through monitoring, observability, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Drive improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, and system stability through automation and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define deployment standards, environment strategies, and release readiness.
  • Act as technical SME during sprint cycles, supporting delivery planning, risk mitigation, and pipeline health management.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers through code reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Support infrastructure-related decision-making discussions with clients and stakeholders in a clear, outcome-oriented manner.
  • Implement and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes, tooling, and engineering frameworks.
  • Requirements:

    • 5–8 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering roles.
    • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline design and project configuration.
    • Solid experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure provisioning using Bicep or ARM templates.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
    • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
    • Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
    • Background in software engineering environments using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MSSQL is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with microservices architecture and inter-service communication patterns.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD and code quality tools like SonarQube.
    • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and supporting technical growth within teams.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and focus on delivery outcomes.
    • Benefits:

      • Fully remote role based in Brazil with flexible working arrangements.
      • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market standards.
      • Paid time off and local holidays according to country regulations.
      • Strong emphasis on work-life balance and sustainable workload (40-hour work week culture).
      • Professional development support, including training, certifications, and learning resources.
      • Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact digital products in the education sector.
      • Collaborative, people-first culture that values autonomy, trust, and ownership.
      • Exposure to modern cloud technologies and enterprise-scale DevOps practices.
      • Long-term stability within an established global engineering organization.
      • Inclusive and supportive environment focused on continuous improvement and career growth.
