This role sits at the core of large-scale digital engineering transformation, supporting complex Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments used across engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise systems. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available Teamcenter infrastructures that enable mission-critical operations across production, test, and development environments. The position requires strong technical depth in systems administration, performance optimization, and enterprise application support within multi-tier architectures. You will work closely with engineering, IT, and application support teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and continuous improvement. The environment is highly technical and collaborative, involving both operational support and forward-looking infrastructure design. This is a role where your expertise directly impacts the reliability and efficiency of advanced engineering workflows across complex programs. It is well suited for an experienced systems professional who thrives in mission-driven, high-performance environments.

  • Lead incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for production issues.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and system monitoring solutions.
  • Manage user access, system locks, and routine administrative tasks across PLM environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Support cross-functional communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, performance, and system efficiency.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 6–10+ years of relevant systems administration experience depending on education level.
    • 3–4+ years of hands-on experience administering Siemens Teamcenter environments.
    • Strong expertise in Windows Server administration.
    • Experience with enterprise application servers such as Apache, JBoss (or equivalents), and SOLR.
    • Solid background in system troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
    • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse technical teams.
    • Familiarity with PLM environments and engineering/manufacturing systems is highly desirable.
    • Experience with Oracle or other relational databases is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS), CI/CD pipelines, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and ITIL is preferred.
    • Certifications such as Teamcenter Administration, ITIL Foundation, or Security+ are advantageous.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary range of approximately $117,500 to $176,300 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
      • Remote-first work arrangement with flexibility across the United States.
      • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
      • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
      • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work scheduling (including 9/80 schedule eligibility).
      • Bonus eligibility and potential additional compensation based on performance.
      • Strong focus on professional development, training, and career growth opportunities.
      • Exposure to advanced PLM technologies and large-scale engineering programs.
      • Collaborative, innovation-driven environment with diverse technical teams.
