You will drive the evolution of enterprise-grade platform capabilities, shaping how large-scale systems are deployed, monitored, and optimized across complex environments. Operating at a senior technical leadership level, you will define long-term DevOps and cloud strategies while also staying hands-on with architecture, automation, and reliability engineering. The position involves designing resilient Kubernetes ecosystems, advancing GitOps practices, and implementing modern CI/CD pipelines that accelerate delivery at scale. You will also lead initiatives in cloud security, observability, and infrastructure modernization while mentoring engineers and influencing cross-functional teams. Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of large-scale cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across enterprise systems:
- Architect and manage enterprise-grade Kubernetes environments on AWS EKS, including multi-cluster setups, service mesh architectures, and custom controllers
- Define and execute long-term cloud and DevOps roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and platform modernization strategies
- Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD, ensuring scalable and automated delivery workflows
- Develop and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to ensure modular, repeatable deployments
- Drive cloud security strategy including zero-trust architectures, automated compliance, and security-as-code aligned with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA)
- Build and optimize observability platforms integrating metrics, logs, and traces while introducing predictive monitoring capabilities
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives in collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders
- Drive incident response efforts, participate in on-call rotations, and improve system reliability through post-incident analysis and automation
- Mentor engineers, promote DevOps best practices, and champion continuous improvement across teams and platforms
- 9+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering roles
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture design
- 7+ years of advanced Kubernetes experience, including cluster management, scaling, and optimization
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python or Go, with production-grade engineering experience
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Proven experience designing and operating enterprise CI/CD pipelines, with strong GitOps and ArgoCD knowledge
- Deep understanding of containerization, orchestration, networking, and cloud security best practices
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or AWS CloudWatch is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems to both technical teams and executives
- Ability to lead Proof of Concept initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity is highly valued
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
