This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce/NetSuite Engineering Manager, Commercial Systems based in Switzerland.

This role offers the opportunity to lead critical internal engineering systems that power core commercial operations, including Salesforce, NetSuite, and related business platforms. You will manage a high-impact engineering team responsible for building and evolving the systems that enable finance, sales, and operations teams to function effectively at global scale. Acting as both a technical leader and people manager, you will shape architecture, drive delivery, and ensure high engineering standards across business-critical applications. This is a highly collaborative position where you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable, scalable, and efficient system solutions. It is ideal for an engineering leader passionate about combining software development excellence with business systems transformation.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of internal commercial systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite, and related platforms.
  • Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, supporting their technical growth and career development.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions that support business operations across sales, finance, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and system improvements.
  • Drive process optimization, system enhancements, and engineering best practices within the commercial systems domain.
  • Oversee architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies for CRM and ERP-related systems.
  • Ensure systems remain compliant, well-integrated, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience leading software engineering teams in a commercial or business systems environment.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar CRM/ERP platforms.
    • Background in software development with the ability to contribute technically and guide architectural decisions.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and align technical delivery with business objectives.
    • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing engineers.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in professional English.
    • Results-driven mindset with strong ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a distributed, global, remote-first environment.
    • Experience in accounting, sales operations, or related business functions is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel internationally approximately twice per year for company events.
