This is a high-impact engineering leadership role focused on shaping and scaling core product engineering teams operating at the intersection of fullstack development and AI-driven innovation. You will lead teams responsible for building and evolving customer-facing systems used at enterprise scale, with ownership spanning architecture, execution, and operational excellence. The role blends deep technical leadership with people management and product strategy, requiring strong fluency across backend and frontend systems. You will help define how AI is integrated into core product experiences while ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. Working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment, you will partner closely with senior engineering, product, and cross-functional leaders. This is a highly visible role where your decisions directly shape product direction and engineering culture.
Accountabilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow one or more engineering teams, driving hiring, talent development, and high-performance execution across product and platform initiatives.
- Own and drive end-to-end product roadmap execution in partnership with Product, Design, and GTM teams, translating customer needs into clear engineering priorities and delivery plans.
- Define and guide fullstack architecture across backend, frontend, and data systems, ensuring scalable, secure, observable, and maintainable solutions.
- Champion AI-enabled product development by guiding teams in integrating and leveraging AI/ML capabilities within core platform experiences.
- Oversee delivery from design through production, ensuring high-quality releases, operational stability, and continuous iteration based on customer feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and executive stakeholders to align technical direction with broader business strategy and product goals.
- Drive engineering excellence through standards, best practices, and a strong culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership roles in high-growth, product-driven environments.
- Strong fullstack engineering background with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Ruby on Rails, and experience across modern web technologies.
- Proven experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered applications, including experimentation, deployment, or AI-assisted product workflows.
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, APIs, and scalable cloud-native architectures.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and production-grade data systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical and product strategy at the organizational level.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a track record of mentoring engineers and scaling teams effectively.
- A proactive, outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic direction and hands-on problem solving when needed.
