This role is a high-impact leadership position at the intersection of engineering excellence, product innovation, and team development.
You will lead multiple cross-functional engineering squads responsible for building and scaling a modern SaaS platform used by hundreds of thousands of service-based businesses.
The position involves shaping technical direction, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring that engineering teams operate with speed, quality, and scalability in mind.
You will play a key role in translating complex business challenges into robust, scalable software solutions that directly impact end users across North America and beyond.
This is a highly collaborative environment where engineering leadership works closely with product and cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate innovation.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and mentor multiple engineering squads, fostering a culture of ownership, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive end-to-end software delivery, ensuring clear planning, execution, and timely release of high-quality product features.
  • Partner closely with product management and cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable systems by guiding technical decisions and ensuring alignment with long-term platform strategy.
  • Remove delivery blockers, manage execution risks, and ensure engineering teams remain focused on outcomes and velocity.
  • Promote engineering excellence by applying strong software design principles, agile methodologies, and best practices.
  • Support team growth through coaching, performance management, and development of engineering talent.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in a product-driven environment.
    • 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer working in agile environments.
    • Proven ability to lead end-to-end software delivery, from planning and estimation to production deployment.
    • Strong technical background with understanding of system architecture, scalable design, and software engineering principles.
    • Experience collaborating closely with product teams to iterate quickly and deliver customer value.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
    • Demonstrated success in mentoring engineers and building high-performing, collaborative teams.
    • Experience with modern engineering stacks (e.g., Ruby on Rails, React, iOS, Android) is a plus.
