Project Management Business Partner & Portfolio Management

What the job is: 

Contribute to projects performance by managing the Satair Programme & Market Centricity PM Office activities, directly managing the PM disciplines (e.g. schedule, resources, risks etc.) and providing day to day support to the project leaders:

  • Carry out deployment and monitoring of project management processes, methods and tools (project plan, schedule, resources plan, risk register, organization set-up, communication plan, documentation); deliver progress reports with interdependencies, costs, resources, actions and risks in order to achieve state-of-the-art project set-up, regular and transparent project and performance management to support decisions on time, cost and quality 

  • Carry out implementation of KPIs and visual management boards, identify any deviation from project baseline and propose preventive and corrective actions; manage the risk mitigation plan (identification and clustering of risks) in order to enable key decision making process, anticipation of deviations and risks 

  • Ensure adequate project portfolio/programme management including extensive stakeholder and interface management in order to achieve integrated project management support to ASPB / MMIP OBS Pillar 1b functions

  • Contribute to effective stakeholder management and project/programm communication in order to secure project/program deliverables 

  • Carry out operational lead of a Project Management Office with several integrated PM disciplines adequate resource/financial management with the Project Manager managers

  • Lead and deploy (iron level) projects (e.g. using LBIP or Agile methodology) across Satair and Airbus, manage  project set-up, ramp-up, execution and closure within time, cost and quality/performance requirements

How you will contribute to the team

  • You have a university (master’s degree) in Business Administration, international business or economicsSupply Chain or similar

  • Experience level is expected to be 2+ years from a B2B company, within project manager role or from a consulting company. We expect you to have an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability and drive to be hands-on with the definition of the projects and you have your project management tool box ready to use project requirements/SLAs, project management methods and tools

  • You are at a negotiation level in English language

  • You are strong in effective stakeholder management and collaboration with Executives leaders in Airbus and Satair

  • You show excellent communication and presentation skills combined with a problem solving way of working within a team

  • You drive and achieve agreed objectives

  • We expect that you have strong analytical skills and that you feel excited and comfortable working with both strategic and operational topics.

  • You are a strong team player. We have a culture of sharing and supporting each other

  • You have experience from projects with focus on delivering customer value ex.: from a commercial function or a product management team. 

  • You have experience with go to market strategy and value proposition definition -  and you have the ability to juggle many different topics and issues across the value chain at the same time

  • strategically, a good business understanding, and a commercial mindset

  • You are not afraid of getting into the details in order to reach ‘higher’ objectives
