Manages teams by providing general guidance and support on a wide range of compliance issues for country(ies), regions, lines of business or provides specialized advice related to a compliance specialty.
Directs and manages staff responsible for ensuring company activities are in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Makes decisions regarding employment, performance appraisals, training, and disciplinary actions.
Supports the organization by surveying business practices/protocols for Compliance leaders to consider the effects of a potential change in guidance or policy.
Leads complex longer term projects for area of responsibility.
Provides guidance and direction to colleagues on routine compliance and ethics matters.
May assist with the risk governance and the impact of any changes.
Understands applicable regulations and the impact of any changes.
Assists in the development of key compliance-related metrics and reports.
Assists in the development of compliance training and communication materials.
