This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pricing professional to lead the development of competitive and compliant pricing strategies for complex federal government opportunities. Working in a highly collaborative and remote environment, you will play a critical role in shaping proposal success through financial analysis, cost modeling, and strategic pricing recommendations. The position offers exposure to a variety of contract types and federal procurement initiatives while partnering with leadership, business development teams, proposal staff, and external partners. Accountabilities

  • Lead the preparation and development of compliant cost volumes, pricing narratives, basis of estimate documentation, and cost/price proposals in response to federal solicitations and contract modifications.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance detailed cost models, pricing templates, labor rate databases, and financial analysis tools to support proposal development and program execution.
  • Conduct labor benchmarking, market research, cost realism assessments, and price-to-win analyses to create competitive pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate end-to-end pricing activities involving internal stakeholders, executive leadership, proposal teams, teaming partners, and external consultants.
  • Manage pricing submissions across multiple federal contract types while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Facilitate pricing reviews, validate supporting documentation, develop profitability scenarios, and support executive decision-making throughout the proposal lifecycle.
  • Maintain centralized pricing repositories and labor category information to improve efficiency, knowledge sharing, and future proposal readiness.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior pricing professionals while supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in federal contract pricing, cost proposal development, and government procurement environments.
    • Demonstrated expertise in developing cost narratives, pricing models, basis of estimates, labor benchmarking analyses, and price-to-win strategies.
    • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and related federal contracting regulations.
    • Experience supporting pricing efforts across multiple contract vehicles and collaborating with external teaming partners.
    • Understanding of Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS), collective bargaining agreements, labor category mapping, and escalation methodologies.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
    • Proven leadership or supervisory experience mentoring and managing junior pricing personnel.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
    • U.S. Citizenship required.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance verifiable through DISS.
    • Preferred experience supporting Department of Defense, NAVSEA, large IDIQ contracts, GWACs, GSA schedules, proposal software platforms, and ERP/accounting systems.
    • Ability to travel occasionally in support of customer meetings, leadership engagements, and business development activities.
