Overview
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage all local accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial control activities.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory obligations, and regulatory financial reporting requirements.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost management processes.
-
Oversee treasury activities, liquidity management, and cash flow forecasting.
-
Support regulatory capital, safeguarding, and other financial obligations applicable to VASP and EMI operations.

Maintain effective internal controls, financial governance, and financial risk management processes.
-
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and regulators.

Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to support business decisions.

Support strategic projects, licence applications, and new business initiatives from a financial perspective.
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.

6+ years of finance, accounting, or financial management experience within banking, payments, fintech, financial services, or digital asset businesses.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, and internal controls.

Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Must be a citizen of El Salvador and maintain primary residence in El Salvador, available to perform the role locally on a full-time basis.

Fluency in Spanish and English.
