This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Business Integration Analyst (SAP FI/CO) based in India.
This role is part of a large-scale digital transformation program focused on modernizing and optimizing enterprise finance operations using SAP S/4HANA. You will act as a key bridge between finance stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into scalable SAP FI/CO solutions that improve financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The position involves working on end-to-end SAP implementation and conversion projects within a global, highly regulated environment. You will contribute to critical finance processes such as month-end and year-end closing while ensuring seamless system integrations across multiple SAP modules. The role also requires close collaboration with development, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust and future-ready financial systems. This is a high-impact position where your expertise directly shapes enterprise financial performance and digital finance maturity.
Accountabilities:
- Partner with finance and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements, translating them into scalable SAP S/4HANA FI/CO solution designs aligned with best practices and enterprise standards.
- Configure, optimize, and support SAP Finance and Controlling modules to ensure accurate financial and management reporting, system efficiency, and process standardization.
- Lead and contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and conversion projects, including solution design, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support activities.
- Manage and support financial close processes including month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of Financial Closing Cockpit workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable seamless integrations across SAP modules such as FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP, ensuring end-to-end process alignment.
- Develop documentation, dashboards, and reports while providing training and ongoing support to finance users on SAP FI/CO processes and tools.
- Troubleshoot system issues and work closely with ABAP, security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to enhance system performance and user experience.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO with strong hands-on expertise in configuration, business process design, and production support within enterprise environments.
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or system conversion projects, including exposure to full lifecycle delivery.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and enterprise accounting operations.
- Experience working with SAP integrations across modules such as FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP in complex system landscapes.
- Solid understanding of cutover planning, execution, and post-go-live stabilization activities in large-scale SAP programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Exposure to ABAP teams, SAP reporting tools, and enterprise transformation methodologies is highly desirable.
