This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer based in Brazil.

You will join a fast-moving product and engineering environment where you will play a key role in shaping and delivering end-to-end software solutions, from early-stage ideas to production-ready applications. In this role, you will lead technical execution across full stack initiatives, working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure to build scalable and modern digital products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to transform concepts into real-world applications, with a strong focus on quality, speed, and user impact. The environment is highly collaborative, startup-oriented, and deeply rooted in ownership and autonomy. You will also help define technical direction, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role combining coding, system design, and team influence in a global, distributed team.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for leading full stack development initiatives, ensuring high-quality software delivery across the entire product lifecycle, from design and architecture to production deployment. You will contribute both as an individual engineer and as a technical leader guiding team execution.

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable full stack applications
  • Build and maintain end-to-end features using modern frontend and backend technologies
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate ideas into production-ready solutions
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and maintainability across applications
  • Contribute to technical decision-making and architectural direction for key initiatives
  • Mentor and support engineers, helping elevate technical quality across the team
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
  • Drive projects from concept to production with strong ownership and accountability
  • Requirements:

    You bring strong full stack engineering experience and have already operated in a technical leadership capacity. You are comfortable working across the entire stack, enjoy fast-paced environments, and have a strong product mindset.

    • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or senior leadership role
    • Strong experience in full stack development using TypeScript, React, Node.js, or Python/FastAPI
    • Solid understanding of frontend and backend architecture and system design
    • Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar
    • Proven ability to deliver products end-to-end from concept to production
    • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
    • Ability to estimate, plan, and execute technical projects effectively
    • Growth mindset with ability to quickly learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies
    • Experience working in startup or fast-paced product environments
    • Bonus: experience with AI development tools or building LLM-powered applications
