Senior AI Product Engineer, Fullstack
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior AI Product Engineer, Fullstack based in United States.
This is a high-impact fullstack engineering role focused on building the next generation of AI observability and evaluation tools for production-scale machine learning and generative AI systems. You will work across the entire stack, designing and implementing scalable services, APIs, and intuitive user experiences that help engineering teams understand, monitor, and improve AI behavior in real time. The role sits at the intersection of frontend product engineering and backend distributed systems, with opportunities to shape both architecture and user-facing functionality. You will contribute directly to tools used by leading enterprises deploying LLMs and machine learning models at scale. The environment is fast-moving, highly collaborative, and deeply technical, with strong emphasis on product ownership and user impact. It is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI systems while building interfaces and infrastructure that directly influence how AI applications are deployed in production.
Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable fullstack features across the platform, primarily using TypeScript, React, and Python, with exposure to distributed systems and backend services.
- Develop and optimize APIs, data models, and domain-specific workflows supporting machine learning and LLM observability use cases.
- Build reusable, high-performance frontend components and data visualization interfaces that enhance user experience and system interpretability.
- Participate in architectural decisions across frontend, backend, and data layers in collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to the development of AI-driven features, including in-house agents and experimental ML/LLM tooling.
- Research and implement advanced visualization techniques and scalable approaches for handling large-scale AI evaluation data.
- Engage in code reviews, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality and alignment across the stack.
- 5+ years of frontend or fullstack engineering experience, with strong expertise in React and TypeScript for building user-facing applications.
- Proven experience designing and operating scalable SaaS systems or complex distributed applications in production environments.
- Strong understanding of APIs, system design, and backend integration, with exposure to Python and/or other backend technologies (Go a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to debug and reason through complex technical systems in collaborative engineering environments.
- Strong product mindset with a focus on user experience, performance, and delivering end-to-end features.
- Genuine interest in AI, LLMs, and modern machine learning systems, with a desire to stay current in the evolving ecosystem.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Competitive compensation package including base salary ($125,000 – $225,000) and equity opportunities.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Unlimited paid time off and generous parental leave policies.
- 401(k) retirement savings plan.
- Monthly work-from-home stipend supporting co-working space, internet, and home office needs.
- Strong focus on learning, development, and exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies.
- Flexible remote-first culture with optional in-person collaboration in select office locations.
