Data Center Electrical Engineer

Along with a team of great minds, you take on complex topics like how we use power or how to run state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly facilities. You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements -- even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.

With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).

In this role, you'll play a key part in the design, implementation, and management of electrical systems for our cutting-edge data centers. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the Engineer of Record (EOR), to ensure our facilities are built to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. US: $144000 - $209000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in data center or mission-critical facility design construction environments.
• 5 years of experience with data center or mission-critical facilities and their electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time as required.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or other related fields.
• Professional engineering license.
• Experience and knowledge in bidding, designing, operating, and commissioning of electrical distribution systems from High Voltage (HV) substation to final circuits.
• Expertise in electrical systems analysis.
