Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
KBR is growing its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for an exciting, high profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The ADNOC PMC project role would be based initially in Client or Contractors Office in Abu Dhabi and later move to an ASIAN location for the FEED phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and components
- Develop electrical schematics, layouts, calculations, and technical specifications
- Oversee project execution from concept through commissioning and handover
- Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, local regulations)
- Conduct load calculations, fault analysis, and power system studies
- Review and approve designs, drawings, and vendor submissions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, instrumentation, etc.)
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering issues
- Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Support procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 8–12+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in [industry-specific domain: e.g., oil & gas, construction, power, manufacturing, utilities]
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD, EPLAN, SKM)
- Experience with high, medium, and low voltage systems
- Familiarity with project management practices
- Experience in site supervision and commissioning is an advantage
