Join our R&D team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and help advance discoveries that make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Mechanical Engineer I, you'll work on product development projects, from concept through manufacture, collaborating with teams to create solutions that address scientific challenges. You'll develop and optimize mechanical designs using industry-leading tools and practices, while ensuring compliance with quality standards and manufacturing requirements. REQUIREMENTS:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join diverse teams of developers to participate in the specification, design, testing, maintenance, and implementation of design changes for analytical instruments and allied products. This engineering changes on instruments make a real, positive, and strong impact on the lives of people across the globe.
As part of the R&D team, we collaborate with global multi-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, user experience, manufacturing, quality, sourcing) during all phases of the new product development (NPD) process to design innovative, high quality, reliable products, that meet customer requirements and time to market commitments within target costs.
