This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Semi Senior Robotics Engineer based in Brazil.

Accountabilities:
- Design and develop efficient robotics software solutions using modern C++ and Python across a variety of robotics domains.
- Work on complex engineering challenges including navigation, localization, fleet management, mission planning, and robotic control systems.
- Integrate and leverage open-source frameworks and tools, including simulation and perception libraries, to accelerate development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and validate robotics systems for real-world applications.
- Participate in technical discussions, propose solutions, and contribute to architectural and implementation decisions.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and support peer development within technical communities.
- Engage in high-quality software development practices focused on scalability, readability, and maintainability.
- Support and contribute to open-source robotics-related projects when applicable.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in software development using modern C++ and Python.
- Solid understanding of robotics or related engineering domains, supported by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or similar.
- Hands-on experience working with Docker in development or production environments.
- Ability to independently handle mid-sized software engineering tasks and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to participate in technical discussions in English.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to propose technical approaches and contribute to engineering decisions.
- Nice to have: experience with ROS/ROS 2, VSLAM, or computer vision/AI-based perception systems.
- Open-source contributions or active participation in robotics or engineering communities is a plus.
