Payroll Analyst

As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of payroll operations across a multi-state workforce. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day payroll processing and strategic system transformation initiatives, including the implementation of modern payroll platforms. Working in a fully remote environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless payroll operations, support tax compliance, and optimize reporting processes. Accountabilities
- Support daily payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for employees across multiple states.
- Assist with the final stages of payroll system implementation and transition activities, helping ensure a smooth migration to modern payroll platforms.
- Manage payroll-related data, audits, reconciliations, and reporting activities while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
- Process and administer payroll adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and tax-related transactions.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other stakeholders to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve operational workflows.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to support business decision-making and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure data integrity across payroll and HR systems.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing multi-state payroll operations and payroll tax compliance.
- Strong hands-on experience with payroll processing, payroll reporting, garnishments, and tax administration.
- Proven experience working with Oracle Cloud Payroll and Oracle HR systems.
- Experience utilizing Kronos Dimensions Timekeeping for workforce management and payroll-related processes.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and its integration within business operations.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.
- Experience using ADP payroll tax applications and managing complex multi-state payroll tax requirements.
- Knowledge of payroll system implementations, migrations, or optimization initiatives.
- Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) payroll systems is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a remote environment.
