In this role, you will be responsible for driving high-quality clinical talent acquisition during a period of rapid growth in a mission-driven healthcare environment. You will focus on sourcing and engaging top-tier healthcare professionals, particularly Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, while ensuring alignment with licensure, compliance, and credentialing requirements. Acting as a trusted partner to hiring stakeholders, you will help define recruiting needs, build effective pipelines, and support strategic workforce planning. This position is highly autonomous and hands-on, requiring strong sourcing expertise and the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches. You will play a key role in shaping access to care by ensuring the right clinical talent is hired efficiently and effectively. Accountabilities
- Partner with hiring managers and clinical stakeholders to define role requirements, licensure needs, hiring priorities, and recruitment timelines.
- Source and engage clinical candidates across multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and healthcare associations.
- Conduct targeted outreach and advanced sourcing using ATS platforms, recruitment databases, and AI-assisted tools.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified clinical talent for both current and future hiring needs.
- Screen candidates for clinical qualifications, credentials, licensure status, and overall role fit.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for clinical roles, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.
- Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and multi-state licensing considerations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to refine sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare hiring standards and credentialing requirements throughout the recruitment process.
- Continuously optimize sourcing strategies to improve speed, quality, and pipeline strength.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in healthcare or clinical recruiting, specifically focused on Nurse Practitioners and/or Physicians.
- 2+ years of experience recruiting in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment, ideally within digital health or telemedicine.
- Strong understanding of clinical credentialing, licensure requirements, and multi-state regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to source and attract candidates for highly specialized, licensed healthcare roles.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent requisitions independently with strong prioritization skills.
- Strong sourcing expertise, including passive candidate outreach and advanced search techniques.
- Experience working with ATS platforms such as Lever or similar systems.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance recruiting workflows and candidate sourcing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and hiring stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess talent markets and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first environment.
