Sr HR Business Partner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner based in the United States.

This role serves as a strategic and hands-on HR partner supporting leaders and employees across multiple business functions in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to management, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational design, and talent strategies. The position plays a key role in shaping a positive employee experience while ensuring HR practices align with business priorities and compliance requirements. You will independently manage complex HR issues, conduct investigations, and recommend fair and effective resolutions. In addition, you will collaborate closely with other HR functions to support recruitment, change initiatives, and workforce planning. This is a high-impact role for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment and is passionate about building strong organizational culture and capability.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as a primary HR advisor to leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace issues of moderate complexity.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies that enhance workforce effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Lead or support organizational design, talent management initiatives, and change management efforts across assigned client groups.
  • Conduct thorough workplace investigations, analyze findings, and recommend appropriate and compliant resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment processes across a wide range of roles, from entry-level to senior leadership.
  • Drive or contribute to HR projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment and collaboration across HR functions to meet deliverables.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, compliance standards, and best practices across all employee-related matters.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a business partner or generalist capacity.
    • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and employment law.
    • Proven ability to independently advise leaders at various levels within a complex organization.
    • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills with strong emotional intelligence.
    • Experience conducting investigations and handling sensitive or confidential employee matters with discretion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR systems (Workday preferred).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret HR data and trends.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
    • PHR certification is a plus.
    • Strong commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and ethical HR practices.
