Senior Instructional Design Consultant

This role is centered on designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that enable enterprise users to effectively adopt complex systems and digital tools. The consultant will work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, developing instructor-led training, eLearning modules, and system simulations that directly support organizational transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate business processes into engaging, structured learning journeys. The position requires both strategic instructional design thinking and hands-on development using modern rapid authoring tools. It offers strong autonomy within a highly collaborative global team, where expertise is shared and innovation is encouraged. Accountabilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions, including ILT, eLearning modules, system simulations, job aids, and coaching materials.
- Conduct learning needs analyses and define role-based learning strategies and learning paths.
- Create training measurement frameworks to evaluate learner proficiency and program effectiveness.
- Manage training development activities in collaboration with internal teams, SMEs, and client stakeholders.
- Develop enterprise system training content supporting business processes such as finance, procurement, operations, supply chain, and HR.
- Build scenario-based learning, exercises, and practice materials aligned with real-world use cases.
- Support training delivery, including virtual and in-person facilitation when required.
- Ensure content quality, consistency, and alignment with instructional design best practices and adult learning principles.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder and SME relationships to ensure accurate and effective learning outputs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of learning solutions and adoption strategies.
- 3–4+ years of instructional design experience, preferably within enterprise systems or software application training environments.
- 1–2 years of experience in a client-facing consulting or project-based role.
- Strong expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning theory, and eLearning best practices.
- Hands-on experience with rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360, WalkMe, or SAP Enable Now (SAP S/4 experience strongly preferred).
- Solid understanding of enterprise business processes including finance, procurement, operations, supply chain, and HR.
- Experience creating structured learning programs, simulations, and role-based training paths.
- Strong project management and self-organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to grammar and content standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive learning design practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
