This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing enterprise-wide talent management strategies that ensure a strong and sustainable leadership pipeline. You will play a pivotal role in designing and driving succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential talent programs aligned with long-term business objectives. The position requires close partnership with executive leadership and HR stakeholders to embed talent practices into workforce planning and organizational rhythms. You will leverage data-driven insights to assess leadership readiness, identify capability gaps, and strengthen bench strength across critical roles. Operating in a complex, matrixed environment, you will influence senior leaders and guide strategic talent decisions that impact organizational performance and growth. This is a highly visible role where your expertise will directly shape leadership continuity and workforce capability across the enterprise.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of enterprise succession planning frameworks for executive, senior leadership, and mission-critical roles.
  • Facilitate annual and multi-year talent and succession reviews with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee talent assessment processes, including identification of high-potential employees and critical talent pools.
  • Develop and manage enterprise-wide leadership development and internal mobility programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership teams to integrate succession outcomes into workforce planning and staffing decisions.
  • Use analytics and talent metrics to evaluate leadership pipelines, retention risks, and organizational capability gaps.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on talent strategy, leadership readiness, and development investments.
  • Establish governance, standards, and reporting tools for talent management processes across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement of talent programs through benchmarking and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance frameworks, and applicable regulations.
  • Requirements:

    • 15+ years of progressive HR experience with significant focus on talent management, succession planning, and leadership development (or 13+ years with a Master’s degree).
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
    • Proven experience designing and leading enterprise-level talent and leadership development programs.
    • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders in complex, matrixed environments.
    • Excellent facilitation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong data-driven mindset with experience using talent analytics to inform decision-making.
    • U.S. citizenship required with eligibility to work in a fully remote U.S.-based role.
    • Experience in highly regulated, government, or defense-related environments is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with talent assessment tools, leadership frameworks, and learning platforms.
    • Strong judgment, confidentiality, and change management capabilities.
    • Professional certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
