Portfolio Manager – Private Markets (French Speaking)

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Portfolio Manager (French speaking) within our cross-border payments division. This position falls under our Alpha Group line of business and is located in Paddington, London. In this role, you’ll build and grow your own portfolio of high-value private market clients, combining new business development with account management. You’ll engage directly with C-suite decision makers at mid-to-large businesses, helping them manage their FX and cross-border payment needs.

We’re looking for ambitious, driven individuals who want to accelerate their careers in a high-performance sales environment. The role offers uncapped, residual commission, meaning you continue earning from the clients you bring on as your portfolio grows.

How We Work

As a Portfolio Manager you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in our Paddington office.
  • Company-issued equipment.
  • Formal, hands-on training.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Researching and qualifying potential clients to build a database of leads.
  • Owning the telephone – using it to engage and consult with C-level executives of medium-large businesses across a diverse range of sectors.  Cold calling will be your primary and preferred method of engaging opportunities.
  • Learning your clients’ businesses and work to explore and uncover key problems and challenges, whilst educating them on how Alpha’s solutions can solve them.
  • Working closely with analysts and strategists to build and present valuable risk management solutions to clients - in time learning how to develop these solutions yourself.
  • Developing trusted relationships with your existing portfolio of clients to retain their business and grow your portfolio.
  • Over time, learning how to deal independently for your portfolio of clients on the largest traded market in the world.

Qualifications & Skills

You do not require any prior FX sales experience to work here. However previous experience in a new business/ outbound sales role would be ideal. As we continue to grow, we are looking to keep our culture at the forefront. Therefore, we instead look for the following characteristics:
