About the role

As a Brand Manager (Companion Animals), you play a key role in bringing our future-ready go-to-market model for Companion Animals to life. You translate global and regional strategies into relevant, insight-driven campaigns tailored to the Dutch market, enabling the successful rollout of marketing initiatives, events and strategic programs.

You take ownership of the full campaign lifecycle: from defining objectives and leveraging market insights to planning, execution and performance tracking against clear KPIs. In close collaboration with Strategic Portfolio Lead, Digital & Customer Engagement and Sales, you design and deliver integrated omnichannel campaigns that are aligned with brand strategy and deliver measurable results.

You ensure consistent storytelling across all touchpoints, manage shared editorial planning, and guarantee timely delivery through strong coordination and oversight.

Reporting to the Strategic Portfolio Lead – Companion Animals (Netherlands), you bring strategy to life through impactful, compliant and data-driven campaigns. You orchestrate content across channels for both professional and consumer audiences, effectively leveraging global and regional assets while tailoring them to local needs and continuously optimizing performance based on insights.

Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Lead the development and execution of high-quality, engaging content across channels and customer segments (HCP and consumer; branded and unbranded).
  • Own end-to-end campaign delivery: from briefing and content creation to execution, performance tracking, and optimization.
  • Design and implement integrated omnichannel campaigns in collaboration with Strategic Portfolio Lead and Digital & Customer Engagement teams.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity, messaging and compliant claims across all materials and touchpoints.
  • Manage and maintain a centralized editorial and content calendar to ensure coordinated, year-round visibility.
  • Oversee content approval processes, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and data privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-quality, locally relevant campaigns on time.
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer insights to continuously optimize content, channels, and engagement strategies.
  • Plan and execute customer events, trade shows, and exhibitions in line with brand and compliance standards.
  • Drive a data-informed, test-and-learn approach, leveraging customer insights, personas, and journey mapping to improve impact and efficiency.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in marketing, brand management or a related role, ideally within animal health, healthcare or a similar environment.
  • Experience developing and executing omnichannel campaigns, with a strong sense for storytelling and brand consistency.
  • Ability to translate complex or scientific information into clear, engaging messages for both professional and consumer audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and timelines.
  • Data-informed mindset, comfortable using insights and performance metrics to guide decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams, functions and diverse customer groups.
  • Creative thinker who is proactive, curious and open to testing new ideas and approaches.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (both written and spoken); additional languages such as French are a plus.
  • Based in or able to travel to Boxmeer, with flexibility to travel across the Netherlands (~20–30%) for customer programs, events and collaboration.
