Job Description

The Senior Copywriter/Editor will be responsible for writing all types of marketing content for the university, including content presented on the university’s website, email, direct mail, and print campaigns. They will also take an extensive role in messaging strategy, product marketing campaign strategy, and lifecycle campaign management.

As a Senior Copywriter, you will play a key role in shaping how prospective students experience and connect with the university. You will create compelling, high-impact content that supports enrollment growth, brand awareness, and engagement across digital, print, and campaign-driven channels. This role is ideal for a seasoned writer who thrives in a fast-paced marketing environment and enjoys bringing strategy to life through clear, persuasive storytelling.

What You’ll Do

  • Write and manage website copy, including content for new degree launches and scholarship programs
  • Develop and oversee content for vendor and affiliate platforms
  • Lead and contribute to special marketing and communications projects
  • Conceptualize and create brochures, flyers, and other print collateral
  • Develop direct mail campaigns from concept through execution
  • Create and support broadcast and email marketing campaigns
  • Manage email template creation and oversee coding and deployment of email communications

What You’ll Bring

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel

What’s Required

Travel Requirements This role requires occasional travel of up to 20 percent, including attendance at company summits one to two times per year. Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed.

This is a full-time, in-office position requiring five days per week in our Salt Lake City, Utah office, designed to foster the collaboration and connection that fuel our best work.
