Event Marketing Manager (6212)

ITD · Arizona

itD is seeking an Event Marketing Manager  to lead the end-to-end execution of event sponsorship programs that drive exceptional sponsor experiences and contribute to the success of large-scale marketing events. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in event marketing, sponsorship operations, and cross-functional coordination, with a proven track record of delivering seamless sponsorship fulfillment and operational excellence.

Location: Remote – United States

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of sponsorship programs, ensuring all sponsorship commitments and deliverables are fulfilled accurately and on time.

  • Review sponsorship packages, prospectuses, and fulfillment requirements to ensure alignment with event objectives and sponsor expectations.

  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for sponsors, handling high-volume communications via email, calls, webinars, and collaboration platforms.

  • Process sponsorship interest requests and coordinate contract generation, execution, and documentation with internal stakeholders.

  • Track sponsorship payments, distribute payment links, manage follow-up communications, and provide status reporting to stakeholders.

  • Coordinate exhibitor and sponsor onboarding activities, including resource portal setup, communications, and readiness initiatives.

  • Partner with event teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute sponsorship deliverables and onsite event requirements.

  • Monitor sponsorship fulfillment progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reporting and updates to leadership and event teams.

  • Collaborate with vendors to develop sponsor-related materials and ensure branding and fulfillment requirements are met.

  • Assist with post-event reporting, sponsor feedback collection, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with established corporate policies, contracting procedures, and vendor management guidelines.

Internal Responsibilities:

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.

  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.

  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).

  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.

  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).

  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in event marketing with a focus on sponsorship management and execution.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple sponsorships and events simultaneously.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting sponsors and stakeholders in a professional environment.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage sponsorship deliverables, timelines, and tracking across multiple systems.

  • Experience coordinating event logistics, vendor relationships, and sponsorship fulfillment activities.

  • Basic financial acumen, including payment tracking and reporting.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, sales, finance, operations, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, escalate, and resolve operational issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience supporting technology or B2B event marketing programs.

  • Experience with sponsorship operations, exhibitor management, or event coordination.

  • Familiarity with event management platforms, CRM systems, registration tools, or project management software.

  • Professional certifications in event management or marketing (e.g., CMP, CMM).

  • Understanding of marketing and sales alignment as it relates to sponsorship fulfillment and event success.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
