Director of Product Marketing

Jobgether · US

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Product Marketing based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, AI innovation, and go-to-market execution, redefining how modern product marketing drives business growth. You will lead the evolution of how complex AI-powered capabilities are positioned, understood, and adopted in the market. Operating in a highly strategic, fast-moving environment, you will shape narratives that influence customer perception and long-term product success. This is a player-coach leadership role where you will both guide a team and actively build core strategies, messaging, and programs. Working closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success, you will ensure tight alignment between product innovation and market impact. The role demands a strong point of view, a bias for action, and comfort operating at the frontier of AI-driven marketing transformation. You will play a central role in building a next-generation product marketing function designed for scale, experimentation, and speed.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and evolve product positioning and market narratives that clearly articulate the value and differentiation of AI-powered marketing capabilities.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy focused on product adoption, usage, retention, and long-term customer value rather than traditional launch metrics.
  • Drive experimentation-led marketing initiatives with clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and rapid learning cycles.
  • Oversee and contribute directly to the creation of messaging, content, and programs that support product launches and ongoing adoption.
  • Build and optimize sales, customer success, and partner enablement materials, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Establish strong feedback loops between market insights, customer behavior, and product development teams.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and AI-native execution.
  • Leverage AI tools to automate and scale traditional PMM workflows while elevating strategic and creative output.
  • Drive thought leadership and external evangelism to position the product as a category-defining solution in autonomous marketing.
  • Requirements:

    • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, growth, or product strategy within B2B SaaS or AI-driven technology companies.
    • 3+ years of leadership experience managing and scaling product marketing teams.
    • Strong product-strategy mindset with the ability to connect market dynamics, customer needs, and product evolution.
    • Proven track record of driving product adoption, retention, and expansion outcomes beyond launch-based metrics.
    • Experience influencing cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
    • Deep understanding of AI-native products, marketing automation, or platform-based SaaS ecosystems (highly preferred).
    • Experience building experimentation-driven or data-informed marketing functions.
    • Strong analytical skills paired with deep customer empathy and storytelling ability.
    • AI-native mindset with a strong bias toward execution, speed, and continuous iteration.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead through clarity, accountability, and measurable impact rather than process.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary range: $192,400 – $264,600 annually (base only, excluding bonus, equity, or incentives)
      • Comprehensive health and wellness coverage, including fully covered HDHP and telehealth access
      • Free subscription to wellness tools such as Calm
      • Generous PTO with flexible, open time-off policies
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match and immediate vesting
      • Professional development support, including LinkedIn Learning and growth programs
      • Remote flexibility with additional commuter or home-office stipends depending on work setup
      • Four-week paid sabbatical after five years, plus additional long-term rewards
      • Collaborative, innovation-driven culture focused on AI, experimentation, and impact
      • Inclusive workplace with strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and employee resource groups
