Founding Growth & Marketing Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Founding Growth & Marketing Lead based in Canada.

In this role, you will take ownership of building the foundational marketing and growth engine for a fast-scaling AI-driven hiring platform. You will define how the market understands and adopts AI-powered interviewing, shaping both category narrative and demand generation strategy from the ground up. This is a high-impact, founder-style position where you will work directly with leadership to translate product momentum into scalable pipeline and brand awareness. You will operate across the full marketing spectrum, including growth, content, product marketing, events, and customer storytelling. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced startup environment. You will be responsible for turning early traction into sustained revenue growth through creative and data-driven marketing programs. This is a rare opportunity to help define a new category while directly influencing company growth trajectory.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and own the end-to-end marketing and growth engine, including demand generation, content, product marketing, events, and sales enablement
  • Design and execute campaigns, webinars, events, and lifecycle programs that generate qualified pipeline and drive revenue impact
  • Define and scale category messaging around AI-powered interviewing and the future of hiring
  • Create compelling content including thought leadership, founder narratives, customer stories, case studies, and multi-channel marketing assets
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and leadership to align messaging and accelerate deal conversion
  • Develop and optimize website, email, and outbound marketing programs to improve conversion and engagement metrics
  • Turn product launches, customer wins, and market insights into impactful narratives that support brand and revenue growth
  • Track performance of marketing initiatives and continuously refine strategy based on data and market feedback
  • Requirements:

    • 5–8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, preferably in high-growth or early-stage startup environments
    • Proven experience driving pipeline generation through integrated marketing programs
    • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas into compelling messaging
    • Deep understanding of growth marketing, demand generation, and product marketing principles
    • Hands-on ability to execute across content, campaigns, events, email, website, and sales enablement without heavy team support
    • Strong business acumen with a clear understanding of revenue impact and funnel optimization
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to move fast, take ownership, and operate in ambiguity
    • Data-driven approach with experience measuring and optimizing marketing performance
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with founders and cross-functional teams
