Responsibilities

•Drive the successful delivery of technology projects by proactively managing risks and minimizing variance, ensuring alignment with project goals from initiation through closure
•Define and document project deliverables and timelines, holding all stakeholders accountable for their specific responsibilities
•Develop, maintain, and report on the squad progress throughout the SDLC and/or project plan, ensuring coverage of all technical tasks and achievement of agreed milestones
•Actively lead scrum teams, manage sprints and agile cadences, while overseeing the end-to-end project schedule and delivering key milestones
•Participate in working groups and steering committees to ensure risks and issues are escalated promptly through appropriate channels, driving effective decision-making
•Manage project execution through risk and issue management, project monitoring, tracking reporting, workflow management, quality assurance, change and communication management
•Strong management of cross-stream internal and external project dependencies
•Understanding of technical deliverables and effectively align them to business objectives
•Review functional specs, solution design, and user stories to ensure business and technical requirements are mapped, dependencies identified and a clear critical path established, enabling effective planning and delivery

Capabilities

•Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
•Expert understanding of project management including scheduling, resource capacity planning, risk mitigation strategies, and stakeholder management
•Solid knowledge of project risk management frameworks

Qualifications

•Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications within Project Management, Agile, and/or IT
•Project management experience of 7+ years delivering complex, enterprise-grade digital applications/solutions
•Knowledge of solution architecture for digital solutions
•Experience delivering software projects with budgets of $3M+
•Experience presenting to senior executive stakeholders (mandatory) including exposure to C-suite (preferred)
•Experience delivering technical projects across multiple streams of work
•Experience with software project management across all phases of the SDLC, delivering multiple projects from inception to completion
•Experience within Agile and waterfall software delivery
•Previous experience as a technical business analyst, product owner, or developer (preferred)
