What You'll Work On:
Collaborate with Product Owner, Engineering Lead, and Chief Architect to ensure backlog quality, clarity, and prioritization.
Facilitate sprint ceremonies that produce consistent outcomes.
Promote and measure Agile metrics.
Collaborate closely with other scrum teams to align priorities, manage shared resources, and ensure consistent sequencing of work.
Gather and document technical and business requirements.
Ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the development team and stakeholders maximizing the performance of the team.
Coach the scrum team to apply appropriate processes to create successful products.
Foster self-organization and collaborative scrum team sheltering the team from outside distractions to keep focus mainly on the agreed sprint goals.
Monitor and improve the scrum process and project progress helping solve impediments in the development process.
You Have:
5+ years of experience with Scrum Master role or managing teams to meet stakeholder objectives
5+ years of experience with gathering and documenting technical and business requirements
Experience with JIRA
Experience in leading client delivery engagements and working with senior-level client management
Experience teaching technical teams, comprised of junior and senior team members, the basic Agile framework concepts
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree in a computer science or engineering field
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of the project management framework
Knowledge of agency or intelligence community and IT infrastructures
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master's degree in a computer science or engineering field
Agile or PMI Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
